Hahaha I am ready to travel again.
This time, I joined the tour agency - Bestour &Travel (M) Sdn Bhd to Europe. On the first night, a total of 44 travelers including our tour manager met at KLIA1 airport and checked in KLM midnight flight to Europe.
We reached Amsterdam, Schiphol at 6.00am euro time. Our first stop was windmill village of Zaanse Schans. Traditional windmill is still turning and to see how cheese and clog were made. There we had cheese testing and watched wooden shoe making demonstration.
Then, we had our lunch in a traditional Dutch fish restaurant at the fishing village of Volendam.
Nearby, there is a floating restaurant call Sea Palace Restaurant whom owner is Hong Kong millionaire - Lee Ka Shing. Its design is exactly like Hong Kong floating restaurant. Beside the restaurant it is the cheap and affordable Ibis hotel which only cost Rm390.00 per night. This hotel is convenient with the transportation access like electrical tram.
Day 2.
We visited to Chatelberg St John Church. It took us 4hr journey to Cologne. OMG the whole day journey in the bus.
We took another 4hr to Heidelberg. As the sky is turning dark when we reach Heidelberg, we missed the opportunity to visit Heidelberg university. We only managed to capture a few photos on the bridge then went for dinner and back to hotel.
Day3
We proceed to Zurich, Lake titisee and witnessed the making of coco clock.
Here we had our pork knuckle lunch. It's really lousy food which was hard and tasteless. Their German sausage is also not nice. However, there is a Romantic Hotel at lake titisee. I managed to get some photo over this romantic place. Door handle, room phone is all antique. Their hotel designing is absolutely cool.
Mightiest Rhine Falls
Next we traveled about 1.30hr to Rhine fall. It is Europe mightiest waterfall. The fall is located at the northernmost edge of Switzerland. We spent 15mins for photography then headed back to hotel. Along the whole journey we can see beautiful pine trees. The tree leaves are changing colour as the season is turning from autumn to winter. It looks like gold on tress swinging beautifully by the wind.
Day 4
Today is a happy day. We were preparing to go up Mt Titlis . Hope the whether is perfectly fine and there would be snow. Oooh how wonderful it is. Here I come ....................................There's only one season at the peak, and that's winter...... Let's enjoy the breathtaking panaroma of snow-capped mountaintops and untouched Alpine landscapes. Enjoy the snow............................
Let it snow!!!!! Let it snow!!!!!!! Let it snow!!!!!
Nice to sleep and play with snow. Everywhere is so soft and white**********with snow .
Untouched Alpine Landscapes
up up in the sky
After 3 hours at Swiss Alps, we continued our journey to Lucerne The Lion Monument. Throughout the whole journey, all the good memory and amazing scenery of the Alps were still playing in my mind. The snow and cold breeze made everyone freezing.
SAD LION
From Lion Monument, we proceeded to Wooden Chapel Bridge which is one of Switzerland main tourist attraction. It is the oldest surviving truss bridge.
Day 5
What a merciful journey. We spent whole day in the bus. We just had enough time to visit Marne La Valle to buy my Longccham bag and belt. After shopping we went for a nice buffet dinner.
Day 6
Here I come, my lovely Paris. I LOVE YOU PARIS!
Louvre Museum
Arch of Triumph
Notre Damn Cathedral
There are 3 famous cruise: Rhine Cruise, Canal cruise and Seine River Cruise.
At Paris we paid Euro30 per person to take Seine River Cruise. It's amazing experience. We can feel the cold weather with panaroma night river view.
Fabulous Night River Cruise
Not to be miss again shopping at Galeries Lafayette. It is a shopping paradise to all tourist.
That's the end of our Paris tour hahaha. Back to hotel....
Day7
We headed back to Armsterdam to join the Canal cruise and visit Gassan Daimond factory.
The one hour cruise takes us through the unique UNESCO World Heritage canal district. We manage to admire the elegant merchants, houses that have lined the canals since the Golden Age. Along the canal there are also beautiful churches and skinny bridges.
Amsterdam Canal Cruise
Lastly we went to Atomium - the 1958 Worlds Fair Expo building in Brussels, which was beautifully design by engineer Andre Waterkeyn and architects Andre And Jean Polak .
Next we went to Grand Place, which is the central Square of Brussels. It is surrounded by guilhalls, the city Town Hall and Breadhouse. The square is the most important tourist destination and most memorable landmark in Brussels.
Manneken Pis is a small bronze sculpture in Brussels where a naked boy urinating into a fountain basin. There is a story behind this naked boy. Find out yourself. Ho ho ho ho ho.. Merry Christmas to everyone reading my blog....
Finally, our 10 Days Tour has come towards the end. Everything went perfectly and we were really blessed with good weather. During our last night in Europe, the Bestour And Travel Agency provided us with a marvellous satisfiying hotel with casino across the road. IM HOTEL AMSTERDAM. I am really satisfy with this hotel.
I would also like to personally thanks SHIRLEY IM and CHRISTINE LAU for your guidance. To all my Hockchew friends, I LOVE YOU ALL and also to all my fellow friends joining this tour MISS YOU ALL very much.
