CAMERON HIGHLAND, Pahang

CAMERON HIGHLAND

Waking up from the cold breeze in the morning, I went back to send my mom to do her medical check up in Ipoh. She's already 88 years old. Sooooo......she started packing her luggage. She thaught she is going to admit into ward after checking. I just waited for her and followed whatever she was doing with sound of silence.
Around 11am we started our packing like her. We brought along all our luggages into our car as well. There we went to Ipoh Fatimah Hospital.
After checking the doctor didn't admit her so i took this apportunity to take her up to Cameron Highland.
We took our sweet time to drive up and look for food. We overnight at Copthrone Hotel (Equatorial Hotel). We took our dinner at the hotel because it's already late at night when we reached Cameron Highland.

Next day we checked out because that hotel is fully booked on Saturday. So I took my mom round to Brinchang and had our lunch there. After lunch we drove up to Big Red Strawberry Farm and Cactus Valley. I drove up  myself.

Can u imagine what had happened to us when driving uphill?? At first I just thought to drive my mum  up the hill so that she can view the strawberries as near as possible without having to get off the car. However, without second thought on how poor my driving skill is, I just drove uphill through the narrow one-way lane. Half way up, I started to feel afraid because I didn't know how to monitor a correct gear to use. The car was stuck half way at the slope and not able to move forward! I was so scared that it will fall back by itself! At that instance, I knew I can't go any further. I intended to make a U-turn. It is illegal to do so because I am driving against the traffic!!!! But I need to go down! After successfully made a u-turn at the wider spot, I started driving back down. At this time, I was totally blocking all the traffic up to the strawberry farm. We were stuck head-to-head at the narrow lane. Luckily the opposite car driver is quite kind. At first he is quite upset with my driving and told me that I cannot drive down that way. After explaining my situation, he decided to help me drive my car. I can say that I am very lucky to meet such helpful and considerate man. Firstly, he reversed the car uphill to the place I made the u-turn just now. Then he u-turned the car, drove all the way up and all the way down through the one-way lane until we reached the flat area.

What a bad nightmare..... Very very scary experience. I am not going to try this kind of experience ever again.

All tourist attraction need to walk uphill.  So i can't share more pictures  of my mom because she is too old to walk uphill.
